I'm bad at posting lately. >_< After three exams in all different classes last week (German, Environment and the Human Impact, and Asian Art History) I totally just want to take a looooong nap. But nothing's ever that easy.

I still have to apply for a transfer to the university of my choice, write/illustrate a childrens' book, write/study a skit for German midterm, read to a bunch of kids for Children's lit, go sit in nature for 4 hours for Environment...augh! Stop the world I want to get off. D=

I've also been working on Austria cosplay for Hetalia Day '09. =D I'm pretty much done for this version, but some things will probably be changed before SacAnime in January. I've only had a month to work on it (what am I saying, the Amazing Hannah/quadhonk did most of the hard work for me ; A; Thankyousomuch), so doing stuff that's too complicated + school wasn't going to happen. >_<

I'm a horrible liar and I'm sorry I haven't been posting much! ; A; I meant to post a con report, but then LJ ate it and I was upset, and school started. Enough excuses, my life in digest form, GO!

The con was awesome. I met so many amazing new friends, had fun hanging out, people took my picture, and I generally had a good time. The negatives included the 107 F heat + my layered costume made things really uncomfortable, a few loud congoers generally being rude, and the fact that I didn't eat anything that day until 10 at night, haha. I'll post some pictures another time with more detailed commentary~

School started. Mondays and Wednesdays I have Yoga and German, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays I have Children's Literature, Asian Art History, and Environment and the Human Impact. Ohhh man so far I have so much friggin homework, holy shit. This is going to be an intense semester.

Last Friday, my friends and I had a fondue party for Hannah and Brenna (and a whole slew of other people that couldn't attend, but they got their name on the cake anyway)'s birthday! We went and picked Brenna up from school, drove to Oto's to get kuchen, then a regular grocery store, then party! Luckily Matt showed up with more cooking oil. I thought we had more. >_> So yes. Lots of fondue was consumed, presents were opened, cake was eaten, and we had a good time. =D

Had delicious ramen last night with Hannah at an authentic Ramen-ya in Sacramento. Mmm.

Today, I'm going to Brenna's for another party; this time it's a German Oktoberfest-like affair. xD Not really sure what the plan is, but I'll find out later. *lazy* I'm looking forward to it, and that's all I know!

Wow, my life in digest form makes me sound like I actually have an interesting life. Hah, what a lie! I'm sorry that I haven't been around much to comment, it's just stuff has been crazy since school started. ._. Prepare for epic slew of comments from me!

Though, most people will probably ignore me since I'm going as a minor character. I think I have everything ready for tomorrow...My camera's all charged, my phone is charging, I have money, my outfit (still need to stick on my new awesome patch that Hannah made ♥), food for the Hetalia gathering, and yeah...

Everyone's cosplay is chillin' here at my house right now. I've got a closet full of America, Russia, Germany, and Lithuania + everyone's props. Hannah's (quadhonk) is spending the night, then Benjamin and Matthew are coming over in the morning to get ready.

Yesterday, quadhonk and I decided it'd be pretty cool to hang out for the day. We met up at 12:00PM. Our mission: to find pants for Matthew's DoitsuCosplay.

We also read each others minds THREE TIMES it was crazy. First, we were talking about people in CardCaptor Sakura and I said something like, "What was her Dad's name again? Something fruity like 'Aiden,' I think." Hannah was about to say, "I think it was Aiden" as I said 'Something'. o_o Then at Starbucks, I drew Spain's face in our notebook and told Hannah to draw him a body, which she said, "Oh, I have something pretty magical in mind." After sketching the collar of his shirt, I looked and said, "Sho in 'Yoiko no Mikata'?" Yep, it was. Later, we started singing the 'Obama is Beautiful World' song at the same time. It's scary how often that happens. xD

So...I feel pretty confident on my test. Last night it was like...1 when I finished my first essay so I was like "eff it" on the extra credit one. Went in and took the test this morning, and while I didn't know some of the crappy 2 sentence questions I was like, "YESSSSSSS" when I got to the essay question because I had that DOWN. *fist bump*

Then I had some time after the test to work on my composition for music theory, and I finished it. It isn't that great (not omg the best song in the world), but my teacher really liked it. I made a copy for him and left early. I'm going to miss his class. D= He was a great teacher.

So now I get to catch up on sleep and fandom and friends! Yessss. And the con is in two weeks! I'm excited. =D

I'm off to have lunch then take an AWESOME nap of AWESOMENESS because I have nothing to worry about~.

Ugh, crappy day.

I showed up today, 8 o clock bright and early, ready to do the legislature simulation in my Political Science class that I need to write an essay on by next week. Except....the teacher didn't show up. Everyone waited around for him for 20 minutes. Still nothing. There was no note on the door (the college issues orange sign-in notes for when a class is canceled and posts them on the door), so we made our own roll sheet and signed. A few people walked the sheet to the office and tried to call the number he left in the syllabus, and I went to the library to check for any "class is canceled" emails, but nope, nothing. So I've been up since 6, it's 8:20, and my next class is at 10:30 and I had to just sit and wait. Bleh. I touched up some of the doodles in my notes and dozed. Music was fine, except I have to compose a piece using chords and I don't have a keyboard ffffff. I guess I'll sneak in to a practice room tomorrow after Poli Sci to get that done. Big final next week, too. Ugh.

Came home, watched the Umineko raw, then passed out. Talked to my mom for a little bit (I've been seeing her less and less with her new work schedule and all the time I've been spending with friends...er, not that there's anything wrong with chilling with friends. It's nice being social.) but she had a crappy meeting at 6 and work didn't start until 11 so she got to waste time just like I did. =|

Not just that, but there's other things going on with school and stuff.

Too much noise. Too much irritation. I need to sort out my thoughts.

So, I actually have been busy! It's like after I made that post about being bored, my life suddenly got exciting! 'Ask and you shall receive' I guess, lol. Unfortunately, I forgot to post about this last week, so here it is now! I'm lazy and copied the post I made in hetalia, with a few adjustments. It goes without saying, but this is a monster of a post. Dial up users, beware!

On Tuesday, a bunch of us gathered at Hannah's house to marathon Axis Powers Hetalia, an adorable web-comic turned anime that tends to piss off a lot of people on fandomsecrets. We had fun having "international" (lol) food and catching up. Ben also tried on his cosplay that Hannah's been working on. Later on, Benjamin, Hannah, Matt and I went to In-n-Out for dinner at 10:30, and I didn't get home until midnight. >_> It was really hard to wake up and go to class the next day...

If that wasn't enough excitement, the next day, we ventured to Six Flags to enjoy the thrill rides! Everyone picked me up from school at noon, and off we went. The unanimous favorite was Hammerhead, which we rode twice. And now we can say that we played rock paper scissors upside down. Yep.

Yeah. xD All that + school last week. I had to catch up on homework and reading over the weekend since I was too tired to do anything when I got home on Tuesday and Wednesday. More hanging out the day before yesterday so we could look for stuff for Matt's Doitsu cosplay, but couldn't find anything. D= I had a test in poli sci today, and I felt more confident than I did on my last test (I got a C on the last one....orz). And if that wasn't enough, we're going to see UP tomorrow!

Bleh. I need to update.

There isn't really much going on to talk about. Well, there is. Kind of. But I forget to write about it and it becomes old news.

Started summer session last week. Getting up at 6AM is pure torture. I'm doing okay in my Poli Sci class, but I kinda fucked up on my exam on Wednesday because I couldn't remember the last aspect of American Political Culture (damn you, property!). Then music theory, which is nice, since I guess I kind of "learned" music in elementary school and not much at all in high school choir, so now I have a more broad understanding of it. + Units, w00t.

So yeah. I also got my Lithuania cosplay in the mail, and Hannah and I spent last Saturday dyeing it because the color was so light. Blah, I still need to do something about those pants since they're so tight. ._. I've also replaced the fail belt they sent me and got a dress shirt that fits me better...except it's still kinda huge. At least I can do the top button. And I don't need a wig, since Liet and I have the same hairstyle~! I just have to worry about poofy hair, goddammit.

Hm. Yeah. Not much else. I'll update when my life becomes more exciting. Laterzzzz.

Last weekend, I took an awesome trip to SF with my mom and her friend Laurie. Our goal: go see Wicked~!☆ I've been looking forward to this since last year, when I found out that Wicked would be coming back to SF. I first saw it in my sophomore year of high school, but....the trip wasn't that fun. I was on a cramped bus with nobody to talk to, had to get up at o dark thirty to go, almost got lost, and couldn't enjoy shopping or anything like that. So this time was bound to be 100x more awesome! The show was on Sunday, but we spent the night Saturday so we wouldn't have to rush to get there. (And yeah, Sunday was Father's Day, but it was an accident that we got tickets on that day. ._.;;; We're doing Father's Day next Sunday, so it's all okay!)

After the show, we were stuck in SF gridlock for an hour or so, and didn't get home until 8 even though we left at 5. xD I had so much fun on this trip though, so much better than my last time seeing Wicked! Ah, my mom just said her friend at work is selling 3 Orchestra super close seats for tomorrow's show for $40! Who wants to go? xD

On Saturday, I went to my cousin's place for his graduation party. My laptop died and I couldn't get it to come back. D=

Sunday, I went to Gabbi's for a barbeque and caught up with Gabbi. We need to hang out more. She got me into Atashinchi no Danshi. Not another drama to watch! But it has Horikita Maki and Kaname Jun (For some reason I find him incredibly sexy) and yeah. Too bad my laptop is still dead.

Monday, went over to Dad's friend's house to look at my laptop. He's an IT and knows a lot about computer maitenence + repair. He backed up my files because I didn't get a chance to, and called and argued with the people at Dell, saving me hours of frustration. I also went and had some treatment on my face because my skin has gotten kind of eww and out of control, but today it's all nice and smooth and pretty~. Now I can take good care of my skin, w00t.

Dell tech came by today. Even thought Jim told the people over the phone that I was probably having a motherboard problem, they sent me a new screen. Wtf. So he installs the new screen and...it still doesn't work. Duh. Dell tech calls support, who say they're going to send me another screen to try again (wtf x2!). I tell them to stop dicking around and send me a motherboard. So I'm getting ANOTHER screen tomorrow and a motherboard. Good God. Hopefully it'll be fixed by tomorrow. I'm glad that it's getting looked at so soon, but I'm kind of tired of being ignored by all the people I have to talk to about it. (Dell tech ignored me and talked to my dad about the problems, when my dad hasn't ever touched my laptop). Argh.

Dunno how much I'll be online. My laptop keeps doing this scary glitch where everything gets a spotty green pixellization, then pink, then everything freezes and ctrl + alt + delete doesn't do anything. I'll be calling Dell tomorrow, but...ugh. What a fucking pain. I hope I don't lose everything anything.

On Monday, Hannah, Ben and I had an epic takoyaki (+yakisoba) party! We wanted to meet up for "summer vacation activities," so making good food and going swimming sounded like fun! Most people are still away at school and in classes, so it was just the three of us, but we still had a great time~.

Ugh, my jury duty was moved to Wednesday. I guess I can start on "the great purge" of all the crap in my room tomorrow.

Well, I'm finally on summer vacation! Yay! By speech test was ridiculous. Questions like, "A speaker uses connotative words to... A)Appear as non biased as possible B)Establish credibility" and two other responses that didn't match. It was frustrating, because so many questions were so vague or could be answered with two or more responses when there wasn't an "all of the above" option. >_< Gahhh.

Yesterday, my kitty had to go to the vet. ;_; She's had this big lump on her belly for the longest time, but it started to bother her recently, so we opted for surgery to remove it. I was really scared that she'd die during the operation...I mean, she is pretty old. I think she's 15 or 16 this year. So when we brought her home, I couldn't help but cry when I saw what a bad state she was in. Her eyes were all red and wet from the medication they used to knock her out, she limped around, there was blood on her belly and paws, not to mention the giant, badly sewed up incision on her belly. We were told to make sure that she doesn't lick around the area, and I freaked out when she started biting at the stitches and making them bleed. I ended up putting some gauze and wrapping a medical bandage around her so she'd stop biting at it. It looked pretty pathetic...

I took the bandage off today, as she seems to have forgotten about the incision. Do I worry too much about my cat? >_>

Now that I'm on break, I can catch up with dramas and tv shows. I've been working on Mago Mago Arashi as of late, but aside from a few random things from the show, it's basically the same thing. >_> I wonder if there's more of the Arashi no Totsugeki episodes out there, since those are my favorite. ♥ I need to catch up on Arashi no Shukudai-kun, too. I've also caught up with The Quiz Show 2. Wow, it's really different from season 1. But that's good! And episode 3 had Narimiya Hiroki in it! He's really grown up since he was in Stand Up!! with Nino.

Bleh, I need to get to cleaning up my room. I also have jury duty on Tuesday. Crossing my fingers that I'll be dismissed.

My internet died for 24 hours.

I did a lot of homework today, but it was hardly a dent in what I still have to do.

I got a letter calling me for jury duty.

I started my period.
